It's likely you've had an acai bowl before at your favourite brunch destination, but have you ever made your own before? If you have, you'll know how easy it is and how yummy it tastes. Here's a 1 step method on how to make it. Don't forget to add it your favourite toppings such as fruit, granola, seeds or nuts.
- 2 tsp acai powder
- 1.5 handfuls of frozen berries (any summer berries will work)
- 1/2 medium sized ripe banana, roughly chopped
- handful ice cubes
- any toppings of your choice, such as coconut flakes, mango, blueberries, oats, granola, nut butter - or anything else you like!
- Add the acai powder, berries, banana and ice cubes in a blender - such as a Nutribullet - and blend until smooth. Then serve in a bowl with your choice of toppings.
