KINN is a family company, launched in London in the Spring of 2017. 

We create luxury, design-led, organic and non-toxic products for you, your family and your home.

We’ve created a core collection of eight luxury, design-led, plant-based products for your body and your home.

Based on heritage aromatherapy-based family recipes, our products are Soil Association COSMOS certified organic. Our ingredients are eco-friendly, non-toxic and vegan. Kind to skin and naturally effective. Our packaging is fully recyclable, sustainable, and all fully-traceable, ethically-sourced and made in Britain.


The KINN Story

 

KINN launched in London on March 28th 2017 - a modern, organic lifestyle brand, fronted by three modern women. But the KINN story is one of heritage and longevity, with family recipes passed down through generations.

The KINN dream starts in Los Angeles in 1981, in the studio of Marcel Lavabre.

Marcel is a pioneer of the aromatherapy revolution, launching a coveted range of plant-based products under the Aroma Vera banner that earned him a cult following.

Fast forward twelve years and cross over the Atlantic to Surrey, where Marcel’s niece, Marie, has just started her own family with a daughter - Sophie. “Having a child changes you,” says Marie of the epiphany she had when Sophie was born. “You consider everything - what’s on their skin, what they touch, what they eat.” So she called on her uncle, Marcel, for his trusted oils and creams. Only the best for her baby.

Now skip forward to the mid-2010s. Marie runs a successful property development company, Sophie, now in her early 20s, is studying interior design. “Thanks to my mum, I grew up with an organic lifestyle - and there’s far more choice than when I was born. But Marcel’s formulas are still so luxurious, I just wanted to share them with the world.”

With that, Sophie persuaded her mum to take her uncle’s formulas and update them for the modern home and family. They flew out to visit Marcel, and with his blessing, KINN was born. Marie and Sophie worked on updating these heritage family formulas in line with the strictest modern organic certifications, and building a holistic lifestyle brand they’d be proud to display on their shelves.

Along their journey to take KINN from a family secret to contemporary home must-have, Marie and Sophie enlisted the help of long-term family friend Jess for her marketing expertise. Jess fell in love with the brand, the vision and the products. And so the founding KINN team was complete.

So here we are in March 2017 with our inaugural range of stylish organic, non-toxic and eco-friendly products for you, your family and your home. Marie, Sophie and Jess are delighted to present this first KINN collection.

We believe that home is where the heart is, but we love to travel, too. And staring at dream retreats on Instagram counts when you can’t quite get away.

We believe in the power and importance of family - whatever your family looks like. Friends, colleagues and pets included.

We believe in enjoying ourselves and not taking things too seriously. It’s good to laugh, even better to laugh with the people you love.
